Bahraini Crown Prince meets with Saudi ambassador to U.S.

Washington, Rabi'I 13, 1439 H., December 01, 2017, SPA -- Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa of Bahrain, Deputy Commander-in-chief of Bahrain Defense Force and First Deputy Premier, met at his guest residence in Washington today with the Saudi ambassador to the United States Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz.
During the meeting, they highly valued the close ties binding the two kingdoms under the leaderships of King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
For his part, Prince Salman expressed gratitude of the role being played by Saudi Arabia in enhancing the values of peace, justice and rights.
He lauded the strenuous efforts being exerted by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense, in the economic and developmental fields, citing the Kingdom's vision 2030 and other initiatives aiming to achieve the aspirations of the Saudi people and enhance the prestigious status of Saudi Arabia at the regional and international scenes.
During the meeting, current issues of mutual concern at the Arab and international arenas, efforts being exerted by the two countries in enhancing the regional and international role in combating terrorism and interference in the domestic affairs of other countries, and best utilizing their relations in supporting stability and development in close cooperation with peace-loving countries were reviewed.
