Kuwait- 19,000 text messages sent to consumers: MEW

(MENAFN- Arab Times) KUWAIT CITY, Nov 29: Assistant Undersecretary for Water Network Operation and Maintenance at Ministry of Electricity and Water Eng Khalifa Al-Fraih revealed that 19,000 text messages were sent to consumers in the last ten months from Jan 1 to Oct 31, reports Al-Rai daily.

He said the consumers were appreciated in these messages as well as reassured that their complaints are being followed up and the ministry is carrying out all necessary tasks properly. Eng Al-Fraih revealed that the consumers who contacted the ministry through Whatsapp had praised the efforts exerted by the ministry in promptly responding to their complaints especially concerning water networks.

Meanwhile, Ministry of Electricity and Water has been taking necessary procedures to launch the first rationalization conference which will be held under the patronage of the Minister of Oil and Minister of Electricity and Water Essam Al-Marzouq on Dec 6-7. The conference will be held at Ibn Al-Haitham Center in Public Authority for Applied Education and Training in Adailiya
