(MENAFN- Arab Times) KUWAIT CITY, Nov 29: The Court of Appeals upheld the verdict issued by a lower court which sentenced a Kuwaiti citizen to death for killing his Saudi friend. According to the case file, the victim's corpse was discovered when a shepherd came across it in Wafra desert area.

Intensive investigations were carried out which eventually revealed that the criminal is a Kuwaiti citizen who killed his Saudi friend and immediately fl ed to Saudi Arabia. He killed his friend because his brother was arrested after the victim informed the family of a Syrian teenager that his brother was the one who kidnapped the teenager and raped him. Later, Saudi police arrested the fugitive who admitted to committing the murder.
