
Baku, Samara may be connected by direct flights

Russia's NordStar Airlines has obtained a license to carry out flights to Azerbaijan, said a protocol of the Interdepartmental Commission for accessing carriers on international routes, posted on the website of Russia's Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsiya).
The protocol says that NordStar Airlines has obtained permission to carry out the regular Samara-Baku flights once in a week.
NordStar is among the 15 big airlines in Russia, according to Rosaviatsiya. The company is headquartered in Norilsk.
