Omani singer Salim Ali Said pass away
(MENAFN)After years of struggling with cancer, Legendary Omani singer Salim Ali Said died in Thailand on Wednesday.
Salim was born in 1959 in Oman's southern Salalah province. He was known as the "Omani song ambassador", and started singing at the age of seven.
'Eisha Saeed' was his first album that got released in 1974 and featured 'Tabatel fe hub Al-watan', a national song that became extremely popular.
His first video was released in 1976, becoming one of the first Gulf music videos to be released.
