Turkmen oil concern develops 'road map' for geological prospecting

Turkmenistan's Turkmenoil state concern has developed a 'road map' for geological and technical measures for 2018-2024, the "Neutral Turkmenistan" newspaper reported.
The state concern operates about three dozen fields, including more than 600 oil and gas deposits at various stages of development.
It is planned to carry put active development of new fields – Northern Goturdepe, Altygui, Uzynada, wide introduction of modern methods of increasing oil recovery of productive deposits in the fields that are in long-term operation, application of advanced technologies in the field of wells' overhaul.
The volume of drilling operations, the scale of the construction of exploration and production wells will be significantly increased. Particular attention will be paid to the study of deep-lying (up to seven kilometers) structures, says the article.
Moreover, the implementation of projects for accelerated industrial development of promising fields in the Turkmen sector and the coastal zone of the Caspian Sea will continue.
