London: public transportation to be powered by coffee waste

(MENAFN) It was confirmed that starting Monday, several of buses in London are to be powered with the addition of waste coffee grounds.

The public transport fuel supply is planned to be helped powered through adding a biofuel formed by combining oil taken out of coffee waste with diesel.

Sufficient coffee oil to power a bus for a year has been produced by bio-bean, technology firm as it confirmed.

For the purpose of diminishing transport emissions, Transport for London (TfL) has dedicated its attention in making use of biofuels.
