Expatriate dies of H1N1 virus in Oman

(MENAFN) An expatriate man living in Oman died of the swine flu virus (H1N1) in the first week of October.

The Ministry of health said that many other patients who fell sick with the pandemic disease were making a full recovery.

Many other cases of H1N1 were reported by the health authorities, where they were diagnosed since last January; however, one patient has died this month due to health complications.

"Government health officials have acted to reassure residents that all protocols are in place and issued guidance on how to avoid the virus", the Times of Oman said.
