Kuwaiti oil price down 36 cents to stand at USD 58.44 per barrel


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Nov 18 (KUNA) -- The price of Kuwaiti crude oil went down 36 cents and settled at USD 58.44 per barrel, compared to USD 58.80 per barrel since last Thursday, said Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) on Saturday.

In world markets, oil prices were up after comments made by Saudi Energy Minister, expressing wishes on behalf of his country to extend the agreement made by OPEC members to lower production, during their 30th meeting at the end of this month.

Oil crude price Brent mixed was up USD 1.36 to stand at USD 62.72 while the US crude Western Texas oil was also up USD 1.41 and settled at USD 56.55 per barrel. (end) asj.mb
