(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) ANKARA, Nov 17 (KUNA) -- Turkey's Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu will meet his Russian and Iranian counterparts, Sergey Lavrov and Mohammad Javad Zarif, respectively in Antalya this Sunday.

The meeting will prepare for the trilateral summit meeting on Syria, to be held in Russia's Sochi resort next Wednesday, Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Friday.

Earlier today, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said his meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Iranian President Hassan Rouhani will focus on the situation in Idlib governorate, north Syria.

The summit meeting will also discuss ways to consolidate the ceasefire in the de-escalation zones and facilitate holding direct talks between the Syrian government and opposition on a permanent political settlement, he added. (end) rs.gb
