Amman, Nov. 16 (Petra)--His Majesty King Abdullah II on Thursday sent a cable to Latvian President Raimonds Vejonis congratulating him on the anniversary of country's independence day.

The King wished President Vejonis continued good health and the people of Latvia further progress and prosperity.
