Jordan- Foreign ministry secretary general meets Italian counterpart
(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Nov. 15 (Petra)--Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs Zeid Lawzi on Wednesday met his Italian counterpart Elisabetta Belloni and an accompanying delegation.
The meeting focused on means to forge closer ties between Jordan and Italy, mainly in the economic, cultural and scientific fields.
The two sides also discussed possibilities of holding an economic forum between the two countries to promote Jordan as an investment destination.
Balloni conferred upon Lawzi the Great Cross Knight Medal in recognition of his efforts to strengthen Jordanian-Italian ties during his mission in Rome.
