Trump administration: rules on cyber flaws to be published

(MENAFN) Reuters report shows that the Trump administration is prepared to disclose its regulations over the decision relating cyber vulnerabilities to be unveiled or keep hidden.

The rules are meant to clarify the method on how the government settles on a decision when it comes to exposing errors in cyber-security in order that manufacturers are able to repair bugs in computer systems.

The government has been condemned that it rarely notifies manufacturers concerning cyber vulnerabilities in an attempt to make use of such holes to commence its own cyber-attacks.

However, according to the report, the Trump administration is aiming to explain its decision making process by publishing the rules, so no misinterpretation would occur.
