Kuwait- Shops, eateries targeted
KUWAIT CITY, Nov 14: Public Relations Department at Kuwait Municipality disclosed that Jahra Violation Removal Department, as part of the extended campaign titled 'With your cooperation we beautify it', embarked on an inspection tour of Jahra governorate, reports Al-Seyassah daily.
Head of the department Sulaiman Al-Ghais stated the campaign targeted shops and restaurants, which resulted in the issuance of 13 violations against unwholesome foodstuff, unlicensed advertisements and operating a shop without relevant license from Kuwait Municipality.
They also confiscated and destroyed 85 kgs of expired foodstuff. Public Relations Department called upon citizens and expatriates to contact hotline 139 or social media site kuwmun@ for complaints and legal action will be taken without delay.
