Kuwait- 'Visas for Lebanese not suspended'

(MENAFN- Arab Times) KUWAIT CITY, Nov 13: Security sources have denied rumor circulated about suspending the issuance of business and family visit visas to Lebanese nationals, stressing there's no truth in the report, says Al-Rai daily.

The same sources added the General Department of Residence Affairs continues to issue various types of visas to Lebanese nationals according to law. He noted the Lebanese undergo standard procedure for visa like all other nationalities by obtaining required approvals from concerned security authorities, as long as they fulfill the necessary conditions.

Sources affirmed that approval of visas is conditional on the approval of the State Security — as it's the case for all other nationalities and in line with strict procedures followed by the State's regulating bodies in protecting internal security.
