Yemen's legitimacy coalition aborts attack on int'l navigation

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) JEDDAH, Nov 11 (KUNA) -- The Arab Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen has foiled a planned attack on international maritime navigation courses, the coalition's spokesman said.

The attack was intended by Houthi militants by using bomb speedboats and a group of divers, Colonel Turki Al-Malki said in a statement.

The Saudi-led alliance supports a Political settlement to the Yemeni crisis according to a GCC initiative, outcome of national dialogue and relevant UN resolution -- all basically call for withdrawal of Houthi militias from towns and cities, namely Sanaa. (end) nh.mt
