King of Morocco arrives in Doha today
King Mohamed VI of Morocco will arrive in Doha today for an official visit to Qatar. His Highness the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani and the King of Morocco will hold official talks at the Emiri Diwan on consolidating bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and means of enhancing them, besides a host of issues of common concern.
Preparatory meetings of Unesco committees
A Qatari delegation participated in the preparatory meetings of the 39th session of the General Conference of Unesco to discuss reports by the education, and communication and information committees. Head of the Islamic Education Department Dr Abdullah al-Marri took part in the Education Committee meeting, where they adopted the programmes and 2018-2021 budget. Fatma al-Kubaissi participated in the Social and Human Sciences committee meeting, while Hamad al-Mohannadi took part in the Culture Committee meeting.
