Oman, Libya to boost cooperation


(MENAFN) Oman and Libya pledged to reinforce bilateral relations and boost joint cooperation in all fields to serve share interest during a private session.

Omani Deputy Premier for Cabinet Affairs Fahd bin Mahmoud Al-Said chaired the session with Head of Presidency Council (PC) of the Libyan Government of National Accord, Fayez Al-Sarraj in Muscat.

Al-Said highly praised the role of the Government of National Accord, stressing his country's support to Libya's security, stability and territorial integrity, Oman Daily reported.

Al-Sarraj also paid tribute to the Sultanate of Oman for hosting the meetings of the high committee in charge of drafting the Libyan constitution and backing efforts to restore security and stability in Libya.
