Automated queries, smartphone services at 42nd Kuwait book fair
KUWAIT, Nov 10 (KUNA) -- The 42nd Kuwait international book fair will introduce automated queries and smartphones services to the visitors, said an official Friday.
Speaking to KUNA, Director of Kuwait's International Book Fair Saad Al-Enezi said that the new services, available on IOS and Android systems, will help visitors to best navigate their way through the book fair, held on November 15-25 featuring some 482 publishers from 30 nations and 11,000 titles.
He indicated that printed indexing services would be available during the fair, which has an additional 50 new publishers participating for the first time.
Al-Enezi said that this year's book fair would be extra special because Kuwait is being celebrated as the 2017 Arab youth capital.
As usual, extracurricular cultural events will be held on the sideline of the book fair to enhance the overall quality of the event, Al-Enezi added. (end) shd.gta
