King Abdullah inaugurates World Science Forum at Dead Sea
(MENAFN)The World Science Forum 2017 was inaugurated on Tuesday by His Majesty King Abdullah where some 3,000 scientists, policymakers, noble laureates and academics and investors were gathered under the theme of "Science for Peace".
This forum comes to the region for the first time with attendees from more than 120 countries.
King Abdullah has honored scientists who achieved a great place in various fields including medicine, pharmacology, mathematics, chemistry, physics, chemical engineering, mechanical and industrial engineering.
King Abdullah praised in a tweet, Jordan's hosting of the forum, which gathers the great minds.
The King noted that this forum is part of the plan to see stability and development through "our world and the future of our generations".
