Trucks road accidents in Dubai: 12 killed in 2017
(MENAFN) In the last 10 months in Dubai, Trucks were involved in 62 accidents on Dubai roads, in which 12 people were killed and 82 injured, a senior police official has said.
The police recorded 29,266 violations against truck drivers during this period.
As a precaution procedure, the police have launched a road safety campaign targeting truck drivers.
Brigadier-General Saif Muhair Al Mazrouei, director-general of the Dubai traffic department, said the campaign aims to inform truck drivers about traffic safety.
