Saudi King Salman welcomes Palestinian President Abbas
(MENAFN) Saudi King Salman has welcomed Palestinian President Mahmud Abbas as they held talks during his first visit to the kingdom since last month's landmark reconciliation accord between rival parties Fatah and Hamas.
During a reception ceremony in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, took place on November 7, both leaders held talks and discussed the current situation in addition to the latest developments in the Palestinian field.
"During the session, the (two leaders) reviewed the latest developments in the Palestinian arena", state-run Saudi Press Agency said in a brief statement.
