Knowledge Oman's Fund Your Business seminar on Nov 13


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- As part of its mission of connecting communities with knowledge, the sultanate's leading knowledge-sharing platform, Knowledge Oman, is launching the third free seminar on educating the public on the means of getting money to start and run a business successfully in Oman under the theme 'Funding Your Business'.

The seminar is scheduled to take place on November 13 at PACA Training Centre.

'Our first seminar focused on sharing tips from successful business owners on how to become an entrepreneur. The next seminar will focus on educating the public on how to get the necessary funds to start and run a business,' said Khalfan al Mahrazy, leading the seminar initiative.

The seminar will include a mix of professional presenters by representatives of key funding entities in the country and a panel discussion featuring five successful business owners.

The speakers are Rajesh Ghosh, head of Marketing and Business Development of SME Development Fund, Ali al Lawati, head, Emerging and SME Corporates at Bank Muscat, and Amira al Zadjali, deputy director general of Planning and Development, Al Raffd.

Panelists include Salwa al Ghagri, owner of Salwa Beauty Centre, Rawan al Zakwani, owner of The Palace restaurant, Fahd al Saqri, CEO and co-founder of Basta Majan, Iman al Amri, owner of Muscatia, and Adel al Abri, one of the owners of National High Tide Enterprises.

The event comes as part of the series of projects that Knowledge Oman organises to contribute to the growth of the country by empowering the society with the necessary knowledge and critical learning. It creates a professional platform for participants to foster greater interest in entrepreneurship and economy related issues.

This event is sponsored by Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA), Mazoon Printing and Gloria Geans.

The seminars indulge in sharing knowledge and developing various sectors in Oman, where attendees have the opportunity to interact directly with the speakers and panelists.
