FIFA Club World Cup: Wydad of Casablanca to Play against Mexico's Pachuca

(MENAFN- Morocco World News) Rabat – Following 's victory in the CAF Champions League, the Moroccan side will face Mexico's Pachuca in the quarter finals of the FIFA Club World Cup on Dec. 9, 2017.

The winner of that tie is set to take on the 2017 Copa Libertadores champions in the semi-final.

The FIFA Club World Cup will take place in the United Arab Emirates between December 6-16 and will feature the world's top clubs, including UEFA Champions League winner Real Madrid, CONCACAF Champions Pachuca, CAF Champions League winners , OFC Champions League winners Auckland City and Arabian Gulf League champions Al Jazira of the UAE.

Wydad defeated Egyptian giants Al Ahly 2-1 on aggregate in the final.
