(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- Golden Tulip Nizwa Hotel recently held the 23rd annual staff party. The evening started with the welcome speech given by general manager, Sandeep Jaitly, wherein a warm welcome was given to all the team members on behalf of the entire board and management.
The team members who completed ten years of job tenure with the organisation were recognised with Long Service awards on this occasion.
Other team members were also recognised for their dedication and hard work shown during the year. It was a grand evening with lots of games and group performances. Valuable gifts were distributed to every employee of the hotel for the hard work and efforts they had put in for the success of the company over the years. The main highlight of the evening was the 'Traditional dance' performed by female team members, dazzling Bollywood group dance performed by the F & B team, solo and duet song performances by front office and sales team members apart from the fashion show which was organised by the team members of different departments. Another main event of the staff party was the award ceremony where team members' dedication was appreciated and star performers of the company were awarded.
The back office team won the volleyball championship. The first runner-up title of the volleyball championship was won by the housekeeping team. Beside these, various other sports competitions like bowling, archery, chess and darts were also organised and the winners were awarded with trophies and certificates.
Consistent and outstanding performers for the year were honoured with the 'Employee of the Year award'. Mustafa al Daoudi (housekeeping department) received this award from the Omani staff and Naveen (front office department) was selected from the expatriate staff. The Service Excellence award went to Karamat (F & B Service department) from on-rolls staff and Raj Kumar (housekeeping department) from contractual staff. The day ended with the thanksgiving speech by the senior management of the hotel.
