Qatar- FBQ Museum to organise musical evening at its new amphitheatre

Doha: Sheikh Faisal Bin Qassim Al Thani Museum has announced a series of concerts at its spacious facilities, notably at its prominent amphitheater, bringing the visitors an unforgettable experience of open air concerts in the middle of FBQ Museum Farm.
The series will kick off on Friday, November 10, 2017, with a concert featuring winners of the First Edition of the Qatar National Music Competition which took place on Oct 15-17, 2017 at Katara Drama Theater, revealing the best of Qatar's musical talents.

This concert is organized in collaboration with Moving Young Artists, the Qatar-based non-profit foundation that has been nurturing and inspiring young local talent for more than three years, and sponsored by Fifty One East.

The concert will be diverse and will include Arabic as well as Western music performances. Musicians from Qatar, the Middle East and from around the globe, aged between 10 and 18, will reveal the glorious music talents developing in Qatar.

Visitors can spend the afternoon exploring FBQ Museum and finish the day with listening to the impressively talented young musicians, starting at 6pm at the amphitheater, located in front of the museum exit.

The concert is open to the public with free entrance on a first come first serve basis.

Further concerts are in the pipeline in the coming months with collaborations featuring the Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra and Qatar Music Academy.

Besides concerts, new events such as storytelling and dance performances are expected to complement the events calendar soon.

Sunday: 9am 4pm, Monday - Thursday: 9am 4:30pm, Friday: 2am 7pm, Saturday: 10am 6pm
