Amman, Nov.5 (Petra) - Jordan on Sunday strongly condemned Yemen's Houthi militia's attempt to target the Saudi Arabia capital of Riyadh by launching a ballistic missile late Saturday.

Minister of State for Media Affairs Mohammad Momani said the government strongly denounces this shameful act that constitutes a crime against humanity, as it reflects the criminal ideology for those behind it.

Momani, who is also the government spokesperson, stressed Jordan's solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in preserving its security and stability, hailing at the same time Saudi capabilities in confronting such attacks and the success of its Air Defense in intercepting the missile.
