Oil transit through Ukraine increased by 7%


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) In January-October, PJSC Ukrtransnafta, an operator of Ukraine'soiltransportation system, transported 13.421 million tons of oil, which is 7.3% or 983,400 tons more than over the same period in 2016.

This is reported by the press service of PJSC Ukrtransnafta.

In particular, in October 2017, the total volume of oil transportation through the main oil pipelines was 1.558 million tons, which is 10% or 155,900 tons more than October last year.

According to the company, the volume of oil pumped for Ukrainian consumers (refineries) in October increased by 40.5% up to 193,410 tons, and the transit to the countries of Eastern Europe increased by 5.7% up to 1.365 million tons as compared to October last year.
