Polish president to visit Ukraine in December

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Polish President Andrzej Duda plans to visit Ukraine in December.

This was stated by Chief of the Cabinet at the President's Chancellery Krzysztof Szczerski, the press service of the Polish president told an Ukrinform correspondent.

"The president is scheduled to make a visit to Kharkiv in December this year," Szczerski said.

He noted that this would be a working visit to hold talks with the Ukrainian leadership and representatives of the OSCE in the context of Poland's participation as a non-permanent member in 2018-2019 at UN Security Council meetings.

According to Szczerski, this is a question in the geopolitical interests of Poland.

At the same time, he said that Polish-Ukrainian relations were not just about security issues.

Szczerski said that during his visit to Kharkiv, Duda would visit the graves of the Poles killed by NKVD in Starobilsk.
