Queen Rania visits community development projects in AlBalqa


(MENAFN)Her Majesty Queen Rania's office said that on Monday, she visited the village of Al Bayoudha in Balqa Governorate, in Jordan in order to meet with families, village elders and community leaders in an effort to discuss the village's community progressing projects.

The Queen met with representatives of communities across Al Ardah municipality, at the Abdulrahman Bin Awf Charitable Society.

Established in 1990, the charitable society has financed sustainable agriculture and provided too many training courses which in return contributed in developing income-generating projects.

"His Majesty consistently calls for each area to make the most of its distinguishing features by developing and building upon them. This step lies at the core of decentralization and sustainable local development." Her Majesty said about King Abdullah II.
