Japan: man dismember his murdered victims

(MENAFN) Pieces of nine bodies were discovered in a man's residence in Zama, near Tokyo, he was later arrested by the Japanese police. During the investigation of a missing female, a couple of detached heads were found outside of the suspect's apartment in a cold-storage container.

In the apartment of Takahiro Shiraishi, the suspect, dismembered body parts of other seven individuals were discovered, like the other two, stored in cool containers. The twenty seven year old suspect is currently detained, accused of disposing of the dead bodies.

According to Japanese newspaper Mainichi Shimbun, the police identified the bodies as one male and eight females that were in a state of diverse stages of decomposition. The Metropolitan Police Department stated that the suspect has confessed to his crime, as he confirmed "I killed them and did some work on the bodies in order to hide the evidence."
