Kuwait- Two Egyptians taking bribes at traffic department


(MENAFN- Arab Times) KUWAIT CITY, Oct 30: Two Egyptians have been accused of taking bribes to get vehicles cleared at the technical inspection division of General Traffic Department in Ahmadi Governorate, reports Al- Seyassah daily. Investigation indicated the first suspect works as a Mandoub for a private company and the second suspect guards a building in Ahmadi area. Meanwhile, the Interior Ministry refuted recent news item circulated on social media saying a police officer received a bribe from a leading private company.

Kuwaiti robbed: An unknown person stole KD 9,000 from a citizen's car at the parking of an unnamed ministry, reports Al- Anba daily. A security source said the citizen who works as real estate broker called security authorities to report the incident, and said the person broke the glass and stole the aforementioned sum. A case was registered.
