(MENAFN) Abu Dhabi's new airport terminal is expected to open in the fourth quarter of 2019, operator Abu Dhabi Airports said on Sunday.
86 per cent of construction on the new terminal is now complete, according to the Chairman of Abu Dhabi Airports, Awaidah Al Marrar.
"We have completed 86 per cent of the construction in this project despite the challenges and difficulties, and all that is left is for us to take-off as one team", he said during a meeting with stakeholders.
The new terminal was earlier scheduled to open in 2017.
