James Mattis: N.Korean nuclear threat ascending
(MENAFN) During a visit to South Korea, US Defence Secretary James Mattis said that the threat of nuclear attack from North Korea is mounting.
N.Korea has set off a South Korean boat, which said was found illegally in North Korean territory.
Mattis said: "North Korea has accelerated the threat that it poses to its neighbors and the world through its illegal and unnecessary missile and nuclear weapons programs."
He added that Washington would not allow a nuclear North Korea.
