(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- Mining Investment Middle East and Central Asia (https://www.mininginvestmentmiddleeast.com/), Oman's only international mining conference for miners, investors and service providers, has once again raised the profile of Oman's mining industry and highlighted its potential to new international mining investors and stakeholders.
In this second edition, held at Sheraton Oman Hotel, more than 100 delegates from 18 countries such as Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Netherlands, Sweden, Australia and China converged in Oman.
With a core representation of senior management from Omani mining companies, service providers and government bodies such as Minerals Development Oman (MDO) and Oman Investment Fund, international attendees were able to connect with key decision makers in the Omani mining and finance industry, thereby better understanding the intricacies of the mining landscape and immense opportunities within Oman.
With 50 per cent first time attendees at the conference and new countries such as Turkey, Iran and Sweden being represented, numerous fresh global perspectives and best practices were shared, providing excellent learning opportunities for all.
