International unions' conference for Jerusalem concludes
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) ISTANBUL, Oct 24 (KUNA) -- The second international conference for labor unions and associations, themed "together for Jerusalem," concluded on Tuesday with the conferees pledging to continue resisting normalizing relations with the Israeli occupation of the Arab territories.
The conference final statement called for helping the Palestinians enhance their professional and scientific potentials and transferring expertise to the labor unions in the occupied territories.
It called for forming a committee and regional coalition for supporting Jerusalem and Palestine and activating all bodies tasked with resisting normalization with Israel.
More than 400 personalities from 25 states and 130 associations took part in the conference. (end) ta.rk
