Cabinet decries terrorist attack in Egypt

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Oct 23 (KUNA) -- The cabinet on Monday denounced the terrorist attack that has recently taken place in the Egyptian region Al-Wahat leaving scores of security personnel dead or wounded.
The cabinet expressed condolences to President Abdelfattah Al-Sisi and the Egyptian people, re-affirming rejection of all forms of terrorism and expressing support for the authorities' measures against such terrorist acts aimed at undermining the nation stability.
Some 16 Police officers were killed and 13 others were wounded in the incidents in Egypt's northern Giza governorate. Police were attacked by heavy artillery in an ambush upon learning of a hideout used by the group to train and manoeuvre. (end) msa.rk
