47% of jobs in US could be automated

(MENAFN) An Oxford University professor said 50% of US jobs can be automated in the awakening of the 4th industrial revolution.

The professor said: ""I believe that as long as there are things that we can't automate, there will be enough jobs to go around. Forty-seven percent can be automated means that 53 percent can't."

He added that as long as there's demand for products and services, there will remain a number of jobs in the future, but the number of low-skilled and high-skilled jobs are expected to increase, while the mid-skilled will drop with the technological revolution.

The 4th industrial revolution is defined by a mixture of technologies that is fogging the lines between the physical, digital and biological field, it is designated to essentially change the way we live, work, and relate to each other.
