Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques phones Iraqi Prime Minister

Riyadh, Muharram 27, 1439, October 17, 2017, SPA -- Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud this evening telephoned Prime Minister of the Republic of Iraq Dr. Haidar Al-Abadi, in which he affirmed the support of the Kingdom for the unity of Iraq and its security and stability and the adherence of all parties to the Iraqi constitution for the interest of Iraq and its people.
The king renewed the kingdom's call on all parties to exercise restraint and deal with the crisis through dialogue to spare brotherly Iraq more internal conflicts.
For his part, the Iraqi Prime Minister praised the position of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and his interest in the security and stability of Iraq and stressed the keenness of the Iraqi government to avoid any military escalation and its desire to ensure security in all Iraqi territories.
