New Children's Release Combines Heritage, History, and Mystery

(MENAFNEditorial) A children's book set in Israel teaches children about the life and times of Jesus and their Christian heritage. Roland and Gayle Taylor's Cody's Jerusalem Dig (Redemption Press 2017) combines adventure and mystery in an exotic setting. This sequel to Cody's Ephesus Dig takes a young boy to Israel along with his grandparents. Through the eyes of Cody, children will learn about the places where Jesus walked, where he sailed on the Sea of Galilee, as well as places of historic significance, such as Masada.

Beside introducing children to the work of archaeological digs and the history of Israel, Cody's Jerusalem Dig takes them on the trip of a lifetime. Cody encounters danger as two sinister looking men begin following him and he tries to find out who they are.

Roland (a retired pastor) and Gayle Taylor (a teacher) spend their retirement writing, volunteering, and traveling to international and domestic destinations. 'Our book is for anyone with a sense of adventure who loves to travel and wants a little fact woven into their fiction. We are told it holds the attention of the young at heart from ages 9 to 99, ' says the duo. They say their trips are made even more enjoyable when they can take members of their growing family with them.
