Kuwait- 'No worker can escape duty'


(MENAFN- Arab Times) KUWAIT CITY, Oct 15: The Ministry of Public Works (MPW) has linked the Automated Fingerprint Identification System (AFIS) to the Civil Service Commission (CSC) through an integrated system, reports Al-Anba daily quoting reliable.

The sources indicated this move will have a direct bearing on the salary of the staff because those who do not abide by the system will have their salaries deducted. The source said the ministry will not exempt any employee from the fingerprint attendance system.

Meanwhile, Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, Minister of Municipality Mohammad Al-Jabri has issued instructions according to which campers will not be allowed to erect tents off the Wafra Road, reports Al-Anba daily. For his part, advisor of the Minister's bureau Saad Al-Ajmi said Al-Jabri issued the instruction based on requests by residents of the Sabah Al-Ahmad City citing safety of inhabitants. The daily added, the minister has affirmed his keenness to provide security and safety to the area residents.
