Suicide bombing near police station in Damascus
(MENAFN) Two attackers blew themselves up near the police headquarters in the Syrian capital of Damascus, Syria on Wednesday, state media said.
The suicide bombers tried to storm the police command center and clashed with guards before detonating their explosive devices outside, state television said, quoting the interior ministry.
Local police released no further information about the bombers' identities or their affiliation.
