Baghdad oil exports no to involve Iraqi Kurdistan

(MENAFN) After a suspension of nearly three years, Baghdad began rehabilitating the oil pipeline to turkey's Ceyhan port that bypasses Iraqi Kurdistan, according to Iraqi oil minister and lawmakers.

Spreading from the northern city of Kirkuk to Ceyhan crossing Salahuddin and Mosul provinces, the 970-km-long pipeline is Iraq's second largest.

When Daesh conquered the two provinces, exports through the pipeline were suspended in June 2014.
