UAE- Woman loses control over steering wheel, rams car into truck in RAK

(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) An Arab woman in her 30s sustained serious injuries in a traffic accident in Ras Al Khaimah.

Police sources told Khaleej Times that the mishap took place on the busy Nakheel road in the direction of the Rams area.

"Initial enactment of the accident shows that the woman, who was driving her car alone, lost control over her steering wheel, and rammed into a truck ahead on the correct lane."

The woman was stuck in her car until the RAK civil defence and rescue teams used special hydraulic equipment to cut the car and pull her out of the wrecked vehicle, according to the sources.

"The injured woman was provided with the necessary first aid, following which she was rushed to the nearest hospital."
