Qatar- Emir approves Cabinet's decision issues decrees

Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani approved yesterday the Council of Ministers' decision No. 40 of 2017 establishing the national anti-drug committee. The decision is effective starting from its date of issue and is to be published in the official gazette.
H H the Emir also issued Decree No. 68 of 2017, ratifying a cooperation agreement on culture between the governments of the State of Qatar and the Kyrgyz Republic, which was signed in Doha on December 8th, 2014, annexed to this decree and to have the force of law in line with Article 68 of the constitution.
H H the Emir also issued Decree No. 69 of 2017, ratifying a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in the field of culture between the governments of the State of Qatar and Republic of Turkey, which was signed in Trabzon on December 18th, 2016, annexed to this decree and to have the force of law in line with Article 68 of the constitution.
H H the Emir also issued Decree No. 70 of 2017, ratifying a cooperation protocol in the field of journalism and media between the governments of the State of Qatar and Republic of Turkey, which was signed in Doha on December 2, 2015, annexed to this decree and to have the force of law in line with Article 68 of the constitution.
The decrees are effective starting from their date of issue and are to be published in the official gazette.
H H the Emir also issued an instrument of ratification approving a draft memorandum of understanding for cooperation in the field of tourism between the Government of the State of Qatar and the Government of the Sultanate of Oman signed in Doha on October 7, 2015.
H H the Emir also issued an instrument of ratification approving a draft air services agreement between the Government of the State of Qatar and the Government of Australia signed in Doha on November 17, 2016.
H H the Emir issued an instrument of ratification approving the ratification of a memorandum of understanding on the development of cooperation in the field of energy between the Government of the State of Qatar and the Government of Turkmenistan signed in Doha on March 15, 2017.
H H the Emir also issued an instrument of ratification approving the ratification of a protocol on the amendment of Article (50/a) of the Convention on International Civil Aviation (Chicago 1944) signed in Montreal on 6/10/2016.
