As temperature drops in Qatar, residents have begun indulging themselves in outdoor activities at different venues.

People have started relaxing engagements at outdoor venues at different places like Souq Waqif, Souq Al Wakrah, Al Bida Park, Aspire Zone, Museum of Islamic Art, Hotel Park and The Corniche. Families have started executing their picnic plans and outdoor games.

Talking to The Peninsula, Noura Sayeed, a mother of three kids at Aspire Park, said: 'Since the weather is back to pleasant, we have started to follow our old routine of walking and keeping ourselves healthy and fit. It is a wonderful place to keep kids away from playing on laptops and iPads.

'We as parents take care of kids' outdoor activities because it is important to keep our children fit and healthy. Due to humidity we were unable to bring them at different parks to play and enjoy. Now everything is back to normal, she added.

Children along their parents and caretakers have come back on tracks with their bicycles and football matches whereas adults have resumed their walks and exercise before the winter season as well.

'Me and my classmate have scheduled our football matches for coming weekend. We come to Al Wakrah beach to practice on Thursdays after school and play our final match on Friday after Jumma prayers. This is the perfect weather to enjoy and play outside, as you don't get this season in summers, as Doha is too humid during summer season, said Saied Abullah , a seventh grade kid.

Parks have become a destination of all fitness enthusiasts who kick-off their day with jogging, yoga sessions and workouts. Early morning jogging has become alive due to pleasant weather in Doha.

'I come early morning to avoid rush on roads. It is a part of routine, that I have to jog early morning beside the Corniche. The breeze is fresh enough to spend the whole day in a healthy way. I settled in Qatar in 2003 and managed to found a home nearby Corniche to keep up with my morning jogging routine. I have made many friends here and now we come together for our morning jog, said Shahviaz at The Corniche.
