London: museum car incident not a terrorism act

(MENAFN) Police in London excluded terrorism after a car hit pedestrians outside the National History Museum, injuring 11 people.

The police stated: "The incident is a road traffic investigation and not a terrorist-related incident."

9 of the 11 injured people were taken to a hospital, with no serious injuries, including the man the police arrested.

This incident comes subsequently to numerous terrorism attacks in the city this year, in which people were targeted by vehicles.
