Jordan- Deputizing for King, Bakhit attends former Iraqi President's funeral

Amman, Oct. 6 (Petra) -- Deputizing for His Majesty King Abdullah II, Senate President's First Deputy, Marouf Bakhit, on Friday attended the funeral ceremony of former Iraqi President, Jalal Talabani, who passed away last week.
Bakhit conveyed His Majesty's condolences and sympathies to Iraqi President Fuad Masum, senior Iraqi officials and the family of the deceased.
Iraqi and world dignitaries along with thousands of mourners gathered in the Iraqi city of Sulaimaniyah to pay their respects to the late Iraqi President.
