Jordan- Authorities Detain 269 Fugitives in One Week

AMMAN —AlGhad—A media statement by the Public Security Directorate (PSD) said that the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) arrested 269 fugitives, wanted in 370 cases, within one week. Meanwhile, 17 stolen vehicles have been retrieved, out of 19 reported, in addition to 13 firearms and a number of blades and narcotics.
The Counter Human-Trafficking Unit also referred one case to court, and issued six labour violation tickets over the same week, the media statement said.
