Egypt Air suspends flights to Irbil
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) CAIRO, Sept 27 (KUNA) -- Egypt Air announced on Wednesday the suspension of its flights heading to Irbil, Iraq.
The decision was made in coordination with the Iraqi Civil Aviation Authority, and is effective next Friday.
The Egyptian Foreign Ministry expressed Tuesday Cairo's deep concerns regarding the independence referendum of Kurdistan. The referendum began on September 25th despite regional and international disapproval. (end) ams.sm
